This page will let you know all the information you need to make sure the project runs smoothly! Take your time to have a read through everything and watch the tutorial videos as it will all let you know what I need from you before we get started.
If you need anything (I mean anything!) please feel free to email me. I will always get back to you in 1-2 working days unless I've let you know otherwise. Here's what I need from you before your project begins...
▢ Create your inspiration board On Pinterest, create a private board with inspiration for your brand, including: a minimum of 5 logos, 5 colour palettes, 5 patterns and 5 website designs. If you get stuck, feel free to pin from my design boards. When you've filled your board, go through your pins and leave comments on your favourites stating what you like about them. Here is an example board so you can see what yours should look like.
▢ Fill out your Design Workbook You will be sent a form to fill in asking in depth questions about your brand, your values and want you want from the design project. You can go back and edit this at any time before we get started so take your time and answer in as much detail as possible!
▢ Upload your website content to Asana I need you to upload your website text & images to Asana at least 1 week before your project starts (I will send a reminder just in case you forget!). Please include headings and button text within the document and clearly outline where things should go.
The Step By Step Process
After you've read through this page, you can schedule a free design consultation. You'll be able to ask me any questions you have and we can get to know each other.
DEPOSIT & CONTRACT
Once we've talked and you've decided you want to move forward, you'll need to pay a 20% deposit to secure your spot in my schedule. We will also both sign a contract so we are protected before working together.
HOMEWORK & CALL
Yep, you have a bit of homework to do! You will need to create an inspiration board for your brand on Pinterest, fill in a detailed design questionnaire and create your content before we get started.
MOOD BOARD & COLOURS
I'll start the design process by creating a mood board that summarises your brand aesthetic and colour palette using the information you provided in your homework.
You can choose from three main logo designs which I will create with two revision rounds. Then your brand board with all the other branding elements will be created, again with two revision rounds.
You will get to choose four branded collateral items before we work together which will suit your working process. You can choose from business cards, packaging, graphics and many more!
I will create a mockup of your home page for you to approve and once this is done I will create a live functional test site for you to play around with. You will get two revision rounds to make sure it is perfect.
Once we have completed the process and you are completely happy with the designs, you will make your final payment and then I will send all of the final files. We can then have a one to one training session to make sure you know how to use your new website!
*Some of these steps may not apply. It depends on whether your package includes them.
We will be using the tool Asana to manage your project. You should already have an invite to your project so watch the video below to learn how we will be using it!

Here are a few tips on providing excellent and useful feedback:
Try and use bullet points to break up your feedback.
Use headers to organise your feedback.
Read over your feedback to make sure it's clear and check that you've answered any questions I may have asked.
Post your feedback as a comment on the relevant Asana discussion instead of emailing me directly. Back and forth emails can get tiring but communicating in Asana is super easy!
If you have team members that would like to add their feedback, I kindly ask that you gather the feedback into one message. This stops everyone from getting confused and keeps the project organised.
What happens now?
After you've completed everything on your checklist, we're all set to begin your project! I'll contact you a couple of weeks before your start date to set up a 30 minute consult call where we can discuss your homework and I can answer any last-minute questions you may have.
